The short version

WordSearchJoy collects as little data as possible. There are no accounts, no uploads, and no tracking pixels on this site.

What the maker tool does with your words

The Word Search Maker runs entirely in your browser. Word lists you type are used to build your puzzle on your device and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. If you use the maker repeatedly, your browser's local storage may keep a short history of recent word lists so you can revisit them — this history never leaves your device, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set tracking cookies. We may look at aggregate, anonymized server logs (standard web server practice) to understand which pages are popular — this information cannot identify you.

Third-party services

Pages are served through Cloudflare, which may process standard request data (such as IP address) to deliver the site securely. Fonts are hosted on our own domain — no requests are made to third-party font services when you visit.

Children's privacy

Our puzzles are designed for children, but we never knowingly collect personal information from children. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to submit.
